Find a route through the asteroid field

The pilot stays near the left side while rock columns scroll toward you. Each gate has upper and lower columns of different lengths, leaving an opening that moves up or down along the route. Space, a click on the play area, or Flip Gravity reverses direction immediately. You can flip several times in mid-air without reaching the screen edges.

Clearing a gate awards points. Every three cleared gates increases the multiplier, up to 5×; optional energy diamonds give a larger bonus. Every eight gates advances a stage, with faster movement and eventually tighter openings. A collision ends the run, and your personal best is saved in this browser when storage is available.

Give each flip enough room

Aim for the middle of the next opening rather than travelling all the way to the ceiling or floor. Reverse before you drift beyond the opening, and read the following gate while you pass the current one. Holding Space does not repeatedly flip gravity: release it before your next press.

Energy is optional. Keeping a safe line through the columns is more valuable than chasing a risky pickup. Use P or Pause to stop, then Continue to resume. R or Retry starts a fresh run. Moving to another tab pauses the game automatically.

An independent implementation inspired by TOGETOBI

This playable version was built for DriveMad.lol with its own code, graphics, obstacle layouts, and scoring rules. It takes inspiration from the simple gravity-switching gameplay in TOGETOBI - Gravity Flip by takabarber. It is not the original TOGETOBI release or an official port.

The creator’s itch.io page and the separate Gravity Flip V2 reference are linked below. This local version uses independently drawn asteroid columns and a cyan pilot, with its own routes and scoring. It does not include the reference game’s character collection, leaderboard, or four power-up systems.

Controls and quick steps

   Start the run

   Select Play Now, then Start. Your runner moves forward automatically while obstacles approach from the right.

2. 02
   Read the next opening

   Press Space, click the game area, or tap Flip Gravity to reverse in mid-air. The gaps between the upper and lower asteroid columns change height and position.

3. 03
   Build a clear streak

   Pass gates for points and collect optional energy diamonds. Consecutive gates increase the scoring multiplier up to 5×. Every eight gates advances a stage.
